November 17th Speaker

The speaker for the November 17th meeting will be Mike Ellerbrock. Please join us at the War Memorial Chapel at 12:10pm for worship, fellowship, and a brief message based on our current theme, "The Extraordinary from the Ordinary."

September 15th and October 20th Speakers

Oasis Fellowship would like to announce that the speaker for the September 15th meeting will be John Hopkins of Blacksburg First Wesleyan Church. The speaker for the October 20th meeting will be Rich Palmer of New Horizons Church in Radford, VA. Come on out and enjoy the fellowship, worship, and messages that will be based on our theme for the year, “The Extraordinary from the Ordinary.”

August 18th Speaker

Oasis Fellowship would like to announce that the speaker for the August 18th meeting will be Dr. Tommy McDearis of Blacksburg Baptist Church. He has been a faithful servant and the Senior Pastor at Blacksburg Baptist since his arrival to the area in 1997. Come on out and enjoy the fellowship, worship, and message that will be based on our theme for next year, “The Extraordinary from the Ordinary.”

2010-2011 Theme and Meeting Dates

We would like to announce the Oasis Fellowship theme and meeting dates for the upcoming academic year. The Theme for the year will be “The Extraordinary from the Ordinary.” We will meet at the War Memorial Chapel from 12:10pm to 12:50pm on the 3rd Wednesday of every month starting on August 18th.

A Christian Community on Campus

We would like to announce that the first Oasis Fellowship Event at Virgina Tech will be held on Wednesday, April 21st from 12:10-12:50pm at the War Memorial Chapel. All Faculty and Staff are invited to attend. The theme for this service is "A Christian Community on Campus." We are striving to contact as many local churches as possible to get the word out. Please help us to spread the word by inviting your friends and colleagues to come out and participate in an abbreviated worship service during the lunch hour. There will be fellowship, prayer, praise, worship, and a brief message provided by a local clergy member. See you there.
