April 18th Speaker

Oasis Fellowship would like to announce that the speaker for the April 18th meeting will be Rev. David Dickerson, Pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Radford. David is originally from Hillsville, VA and went on to earn his undergraduate degree from Radford University. After working in industry for several years, he felt the call to enter the ministry in his late 20’s and attended Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA. Prior to beginning his ministry as the Pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Radford in 2006, he served as pastor of Olivet Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville, VA, and Bethesda Presbyterian Church in Rockbridge Baths, VA. Come on out and enjoy the fellowship, worship, and message that will be based on our theme, “Making a Difference.”

March 21st Speaker


Oasis Fellowship would like to announce that the speaker for the March 21st meeting will be Johnny Shelton, Campus Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Chaplain for the Virginia Tech football program. Johnny has been on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for 8 years. He is from the Midwest and attended Southeast Missouri State University where he majored in criminal law and was captain of the football & track teams. After a three year stint in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons and the San Francisco 49ers, Johnny began a 12 year career in corporate America with Procter & Gamble. While also serving as a youth leader at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC, the Lord led Johnny to full-time ministry in September of 2004 as the Eastern Triad Director of the Central NC Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Come on out and enjoy the fellowship, worship, and message that will be based on our theme, “Making a Difference.”

February 15th Speaker


Oasis Fellowship would like to announce that the speaker for the February 15th meeting will be Rev. Todd Millsaps, Associate Pastor of Blacksburg Baptist Church in Blacksburg, VA. Todd is a local fellow originally from Radford, VA. He served as a counselor along with adjunctive professorships at both New River Community College and Radford University before answering God’s Call to the ministry. He has served as Senior Pastor at Pearisburg Baptist Church and then Spray Baptist Church in Eden, NC before eventually returning to the NRV. Come on out and enjoy the fellowship, worship, and message that will be based on our theme, “Making a Difference.”
