January 16th Speaker

Welcome back.... it's been a while, the January 2013 speaker is Pastor Debbie Hutton, a native of Roanoke, Virginia and has her degree from Averett University in Danville, Virginia.  Upon graduation she taught special education in Henry and Roanoke Counties.  She was named Roanoke County teacher of the Year in 1990.  Responding to the call of the Lord upon her life, she left teaching in the public school system and opened a private tutorial program, called "One-to-One," operating out of the basement of her church in Salem until 1997.  During that time she worked upstairs in the church as secretary for her Pastor and worked to complete her licensure for Ministry through Maranatha College of Pastoral Ministries of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church.  She was ordained in 1998 and became Associate Pastor / Director of Pastoral Care at Christian Life International in Salem, VA until 2009.  Following the lead of the Holy Spirit and the passion of her heart, she now serves as Senior Pastor at Faith Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church in Pearisburg, VA.  Pastor Debbie is married to her beloved husband of 41 years.  She has two sons, one who is the Youth Pastor of her former home church and the other who serves our country in Iraq as a civilian contractor.  She also has two beautiful grandsons whom she loves and teaches the faithfulness of our Lord from generation to generation.  Come on out and enjoy the fellowship, worship, and message that will be based on our theme, “Salt and Light.”
